Frida Friday ATX, in collaboration with Small Biz Austin is proud to offer, "Frida Fridays ATX BizAid Business Orientation For Creatives". This workshop is FREE & open to our Frida Friday ATX vendor familia and extended community, and will be a chance to grow your small business within an encouraging & empowering space. 
*** This workshop has LIMITED spaces available for 22 attendees, please feel free to share and please note sign up instructions at bottom! *** 

Here's a short description of the course, 
"Artists and creatives are businesses too! BizAid Business Orientation For Creatives, focuses on the needs of artist-run-businesses by providing guidance on resources to help with the start-up or expansion of their business. In this session, you will be informed of key questions to consider when developing your business and resources to take you to the next level."

All attendees will then be eligible for unlimited business coaching sessions with our amazing lead facilitator, Calder Kamin, through the Small Bizz Austin. 

About Calder Kamin: 
Artist, educator and advocate, Calder Kamin’s art sparks an opportunity to make better choices for the environment and participate in the greater good by transforming trash and her audiences through education. Nature’s ability to endlessly reuse and adapt inspires her to eliminate waste and reimagine it as art. She has a background in art administration, higher education and city government providing professional development for artists. She is the 2018 Artist-in-Residence at the San Antonio DoSeum and the Artist Liaison for City of Austin Small Business Program.

About The City of Austin Small Business Program:
The mission of the Small Business Program is to foster job creation and support the growth of new and existing businesses by providing capacity building information, tools, and resources. We provide coaching and assistance to small businesses. Our focus is to develop and empower small businesses in order to strengthen their business capability and survivability.

Frida Friday ATX is a movement for gender and economic justice! We create marketplaces & cultural spaces that support and promote self-identified WOC artists' to share their handmade and carefully curated wares. We support WOC utilizing alternative economies to support themselves and their families through offering learning opportunities where we can grow together, and, we build a community that empowers each other.
